Mina, who had been linked with a move to Man Utd, joined from Barcelona for a fee of £28m, while his Catalan team mate Andre Gomes has signed a year-long loan deal, costing just £2m.

Barca have inserted a buy-back option for the Colombian global, who caught the eye after a series of impressive performances at the Russia World Cup. "This is why I am here".

I'm delighted to sign for this fantastic club - it's a good day for me.
It is the best league in the world. When I found out about this opportunity and what the manager wanted out of me I was happy.

"The manager made me feel confident about playing here". I have spoken a lot to the coach and I know his passion for Everton and determination to be successful.

"I can promise I will try my hardest and dedicate myself to my work and to trying to make things happen for Everton".

FC Barcelona and Everton FC have reached an agreement over the transfer of the player Yerry Mina. Everton will pay 2.6 million euros for the year's loan. The club reserves the right to buy back the player.

Mina, 23, only joined Barca six months ago from Palmeiras, but coach Ernesto Valverde has not been convinced by him and the club have made a decision to take advantage of his increased value following an impressive World Cup.

Meanwhile, Gomes has been rendered surplus to requirements at Barcelona and has failed to become a regular in the Barca first team.

According to Sky Sports, the 24-year old is having a medical at Spanish City to save on time as the Transfer Deadline nears.
