Blizzard confirms "multiple Diablo projects" in production, news by end of 2018

In a short video, Blizzard community manager Brandy Camel promised Diablo fans that the company isn't ignoring the popular action-adventure franchise. Camel stated that Blizzard might reveal what's in development later this year. Although no game-specific details were shared, Blizzard advises that we "may" see more later this year.

"Some of the are going to take longer than others", Camel admits, but then drops a tease for some sort of reveal or announcement taking place before the end of 2018. She confirmed that Season 14 of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls will consist of themed segments, with the Season of Greed being the first of many to come. One of them, we believe, is Diablo 3 Switch.

It's unclear what the multiple Diablo projects could be, but the one that's going to take longer to develop might be Diablo IV.

Back in June, we covered that Blizzard was hiring a dungeon artist for an unannounced Diablo game.

Stay awhile and listen - we have exciting updates to share about the future of Diablo.
"Diablo is, and always will be, part of Blizzard's identity, and we can't wait for the future". It will likely reveal more during BlizzCon 2018, which takes place November 2-3 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
