Google Pixel 3 XL fully revealed in hands-on pics and video

The USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter suggests that the Pixel 3 XL could come with a wired version of Google's Pixel Buds.

That's because they are hands-on shots of an alleged full production model of the phone and if not genuine, someone has gone to an terrible lot of trouble to make them look that way. The most notable change this year is a new edge-to-edge display with a notch that's noticeably fatter than iPhone X's.

It's been tipped this week that Google will release this smartphone on October 4th - or that they'll have an event that day.

Google is expected to announce the Pixel 3 this fall.

We also get a peek at what appear to be Google's new Pixel Buds.

There's also a thick chin at the bottom of the screen, despite the fact that the Pixel 3 XL will use gestures rather than physical buttons for returning to the home screen and accessing recent apps.

The images show the front and back of what appears to be the Clearly White variant of the Pixel 3 XL with that fingerprint reader on the back and a single rear camera. These USB-Type C headphones might be included in the packaging from what we see in the leaks. They dont show anything unexpected – the Pixel 3 XL has a 1440p+ display (with a notch), is powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset with 4GB of RAM and runs Android 9 Pie. Some Android devices, like the OnePlus 6, now offer twice that.

While there have been plenty of renders and images that reportedly show the forthcoming Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones, few are as detailed as the latest batch to hit the 'net.
