Carrie Underwood coming to Columbia

In August, Underwood told Taste of Country that her husband and son definitely influenced her writing process for the project.

The 35-year-old singer announced on Twitter today that she is pregnant.

But it turns out that Underwood has another big project in development first: a second baby for her and husband Mike Fisher. The news came along with the announcement of Carrie's upcoming Cry Pretty tour, which won't kick off until 2019, even though her album will drop in September.

Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public starting Friday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m. through the PNC Arena box office, Ticketmaster and Carrie Underwood's official website.

The new baby will join older brother Isaiah (3), making the Fisher's a family of four.

The baby news comes at the same time that Underwood, 35, announced she will be embarking on the "Cry Pretty Tour 360" in May 2019.

The American Idol victor recently discussed the possibility of expanding her family in an interview with Redbook. At the end of 2017, the singer suffered a fall outside her home that resulted in a broken wrist and more than 40 stitches. "We always talk about adoption and about doing it when our child or children are a little older".
