Valve's Artifact will launch in November with 280 cards available

While a release date wasn't given at the time, eager players now know when they can get their hands on the title.

Valve's next game, Artifact, will launch November 28 on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux at a price of $19.99 Dollars, with iOS and Android versions to follow in 2019.

The first public showing of the game will take place at PAX West, which kicks off on August 31 in Seattle, where Valve will be holding a public single elimination tournament with merchandise and free copies of the game being given to everyone who participates. The game will be entering a genre where Hearthstone, Elder Scrolls Legends, and other digital card games rule with free-to-play models.

Artifact has officially been confirmed to release for Steam on November 28th, 2018 across PC, Mac, and Linux, with the game's price set at $19.99 on all platforms; a release for mobile is also expected sometime next year. This allows players to freely trade or sell their cards in order to obtain new ones. The game will launch with 280 cards in total.

Artifact's design is lead by Magic creator Richard Garfield. Android and iOS versions of the game are also in the pipeline and are likely to arrive in 2019. Artifact will launch on Steam on November 28.
