Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 - Multiplayer Beta Trailer is Here

This iteration of the game is doing away with a traditional single-player mode, so there's a lot of pressure on the multiplayer offerings (one of which is a Battle Royale mode).

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a multiplayer first-person shooter. What we are seeing from the short clip is that Treyarch is likely going to be using every trick in the book for Blackout, with different locations, weapons, and vehicles, all of which they promised months ago when the mode was announced. A quick skirmish between a helicopter and ATVs is shown, before teasing the mode's September beta.

The Call of Duty series is one of those video game juggernauts that just doesn't stop slaying.

As such, the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer beta is ready to go and will start this week. In either instance, you will need a private beta key, which you can get from pre-ordering the game.

Speaking of betas, the main goal of this trailer was to reiterate that the multiplayer beta is coming to the PS4 first on August 3 at 10 am PT.

PC players will have their own open beta which will take place from 6pm on Saturday, August 11 until Monday at 6pm, August 13. The second phase runs through to Monday, 13 August 2018. You can hype yourself up with the new multiplayer beta trailer below.

So far, the only guaranteed way of gaining access to this beta is to pre-order the game. If so, comment below and let us know what is most exciting about this version of Call of Duty. A code will be displayed on the website and can be redeemed by following the instructions.

A truly public beta might be made available in the future, however, Activision has kept tight-lipped about the possibility.
