Thibaut Courtois puts Real Madrid on red alert

As speculation over his future continues, a Chelsea star appears to have hinted that he would like to move to Real Madrid.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has once again been quizzed on his Chelsea future, being asked after Belgium's dramatic 3-2 win over Japan on Monday night if he intends to move back to Madrid this summer.

Real are looking at a new keeper and both Courtois and Roma's Alisson were narrowed down as their top-two targets - but a deal for Chelsea's Belgian is somewhat cheaper, given he has just 12-months left on his current deal.

"That doesn't mean I'm going to come back, but for me they are very important and I'm going to do something to see them more".

'The only thing I've always said is that after the World Cup I look at everything. FaceTime is nice, but seeing them grow up is something different. "The most important thing for me is my children, and I will make the best decision for me in everything".

"Face Time is lovely, but seeing them grow up is something else, so my children will play an important role in my decision".

The Blues have already been linked with both Alisson and Kasper Schmeichel as possible replacements for the Belgian worldwide.

Courtois spent three seasons on loan with Atletico Madrid between 2011 and 2014, before returning to parent club Chelsea to replace Petr Cech as their number one goalkeeper.

"Alisson is 100 per cent focused on the World Cup".
