Rockets Favorite For Carmelo Anthony; 76ers, Lakers Also In Mix

After following Chris Paul to Houston last summer, Luc Mbah A Moute is reportedly returning to the Los Angeles Clippers on a one-year deal.

The revelation that Carmelo Anthony and the Oklahoma City Thunder reportedly will part ways this summer has given way to rumors and speculation over where he'll land if he becomes an unrestricted free agent. Ariza joined the Phoenix Suns on a one-year, $15 million deal earlier this month, more than double the salary he made last season. He may be even more motivated to do that if reaches a buyout agreement with the Thunder.

Mbah a Moute spent the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons with the Clippers before joining the Rockets last season.

The 24-year-old restricted free agent and Houston are far apart in their contract negotiations, according to a report from USA Today's Rockets Wire.

But, hey, maybe he could have been the one to make a key 3-pointer when the Rockets missed 27 straight in Game 7...

ESPN.com's Tim MacMahon reported Tuesday that Houston's initial offer is in the ballpark of four years and $60 million.

Mbah a Moute has been a defensive stalwart throughout his 10-year career, averaging almost a steal per game throughout his tenure in the league and eclipsing that mark three of the past four seasons.

Recognized as a top wing defender, Bradley, 27, has averaged 12.3 points over his eight National Basketball Association seasons, the first seven of which were with the Boston Celtics.
