Aunt Meghan: Duchess of Sussex stuns in green at Prince Louis’ christening

However neither Prince Harry nor Meghan were named among Louis' six godparents, with the honour going to Guy Pelly, who was once dubbed the "court jester", family friend Nicholas van Cutsem and William's school pal Harry Aubrey-Fletcher.

Prince Louis' grandparents on both sides, Carole and Michael Middleton and the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, all beamed with pride as they arrived at St James' Palace.

Meghan Markle, 36, arrived at Westminster Abbey with husband Prince Harry, 33, and his bother Prince William, 36 at mark the centenary of the Royal Air Force.

William and Harry wore matching blue suits.

"I'm delighted and privileged to be christening Prince Louis today - a precious child made in God's image, just as we all are", Archbishop Justin Welby said on Twitter before the ceremony.

Meghan's short-sleeved, knee-length dress continued a couple of fashion trends we've seen from her beginning with her Givenchy wedding gown: boat necks and belts.

She paired the dress with a bespoke hat by Stephen Jones (worn with a sleek low ponytail) and matching Manolo Blahnik suede pumps.

Meghan's dress showed similarities with the one she wore for her wedding back in May.

So although Kate Middleton has opted for a pale eggshell outfit, Meghan hasn't broken protocol by wearing an all-black outfit to this event.

The little prince was accompanied to the chapel by his smiling parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with his older siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who of course behaved perfectly.

While the princes have donned traditional uniform for the occasion, the ladies are wearing dress and hat combos.
