Wonder Woman Surprises Virginia Children's Hospital

The Wonder Woman star, who is filming sequel Wonder Woman 1984 in Washington, DC, and northern Virginia, surprised kids at a Virginia children's hospital by turning up in costume, the Daily Dot reports.

Dr. Lucas Collazo wrote: 'Thank you [Gal Gadot] for visiting us Inova Health Children's Hospital.

"Dear Gal Gadot, thank you so much for visiting my patients and colleagues at #InovaChildrensHospital", Pediatric Nephrologist Patty Seo-Mayer tweeted.

"Wonder Woman 1984" is set to hit theaters on November 1, 2019.

Gal is now filming the Wonder Woman sequel in the area, which is due to hit theaters in 2019.

Her appearance was praised by several staff members at the hospital. "Next time, can you align your visit with my call schedule?"

The comedian and talented actress is set to get out of her comfort zone by playing the villain named Cheetah but also her secret identity - Barbara Minerva.

While Gadot has only been know as Wonder Woman in the United States for a few years, she has been proving she is worthy of the part for years. In the image, released by director Patty Jenkins on Twitter, Minerva is uncomfortably looking around what appears to be a natural history museum.

Gadot has posted photos of her character from the sequel as well.

She said during an interview a year ago that giving birth made her feel like Wonder Woman.
