Linda Hunt hurt in Hollywood crash; Oscar-winning actress, NCIS star

"Los Angeles" star Linda Hunt was hospitalized on Monday following a three-car wreck in Hollywood, a report stated.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department tells ET that they responded to a 911 call at 2:49 p.m. that sent the LAFD to the 7800 block of Fountain Avenue near Orange Grove Avenue. Law enforcement officers confirmed only one person was hospitalized after the accident.

Hunt, 73, was driving in a black BMW SUV when her vehicle, a sedan and another auto were involved in a collision, TMZ reported. "Hunt was visibly shaken, and witnesses escorted her to a lawn chair on the sidewalk". Witnesses told TMZ that the other drivers sustained "minor injuries".

We reached out to Linda's rep to check on her condition, but have not yet heard back.

At this time, the cause of the accident is unknown and under investigation. The traffic delays can make drivers a little more aggressive.

Hunt has appeared on over 200 NCIS episodes as Hetty Lange since the show's premiere in 2009.

Hunt won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing Billy Kwan in 1982 movie The Year of Living Dangerously, her second film role, making her the first person to win an Oscar portraying a character of the opposite sex.

Hunt, on the other hand, isn't almost as rigid, according to a 2014 article by the Los Angles Times, or at least her home, which she shares with Karen Klein, isn't. "It's welcoming." It's also lovely.
