Trump slams Robert De Niro as 'a very Low IQ individual'

After De Niro's comments at this weekend's Tony Awards, in which he announced "fuck Trump", the US President took to Twitter to lambaste the star as "a very Low IQ individual". I watched him last night and truly believe he may be "punch-drunk, '" Trump tweeted.

Representatives for De Niro did not immediately return a request for comment.

"I'm going to say one thing", he said, raising his fists in the air.

De Niro, one of the most respected American actors, twice used the so-called F-Bomb against Trump on Sunday, prompting loud applause from the audience of theatre actors, directors and producers at Radio City Music Hall.

De Niro has been an outspoken critic of Trump, even saying in May he barred the president from visiting any locations of his swanky restaurant, Nobu.

"Bruce, you can rock the house like nobody else", De Niro continued.

De Niro, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of boxer Jake LaMotta in the 1980 film "Raging Bull", got a standing ovation at the Tony Awards on Sunday with his denunciation of Trump. Of course, this user is referring to former FBI Director Robert Mueller and the Special Counsel investigation on Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and any Russian interference.

Hours later, Trump addressed the actor in a tweet.

He said: "First, I wanna say, '**** Trump, '".

'I just want to make a note of apology for the idiotic behavior of my president, ' he said. And I apologize to [Canadian Prime Minister] Justin Trudeau and the other people at the G7.
