Olympian Bode Miller Shares Heartbreaking Post About 19-month-old Daughter's Death

Former Olympian Bode Miller's 19-month-old daughter died after a tragic drowning accident.

First responders arrived at the scene and administered CPR before transporting the child to the hospital, where she died, according to the website. They rushed her to the hospital but she didn't have a pulse the whole way there, authorities said.

He had posted on Instagram on Easter Sunday that his wife is expecting another child in October. "Our baby girl, Emmy, passed away yesterday", he wrote. "As their community, we can make sure they know they are loved and taken care of", the family wrote on the Meal Train website.

He went on: 'Our little girl loved life and lived it to its fullest every day.

Miller posted links to a "food train" website - where neighbors can sign up to bring the family meals as they grieve - and a GoFundMe looking to raise $40,000 for medical and memorial services costs.

Emeline was the youngest of Miller's four children.

One photo showed her covered in suds in a tub and another showed her smiling as she pushed two baby dolls in a pink stroller on a street with large homes in the background.

The family were attending a party at a neighbour's house when Emeline Grier Miller fell into the pool and drowned, TMZ has reported.

Their son Nash was born in 2015.

A spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff's Department said that the death is still under investigation at this time.

Miller also has two other children from prior relationships.
