For European players, it will be available to download from the Nintendo eShop at around 11pm BST, and is out now in the US.

Epic Games has yet to officially confirm the existence of Fortnite on Switch, but at this point, it would be shocking not to see the game tomorrow. Now you can take the game with you on-the-go on a device more capable than a smartphone.

The Switch's online services are now free, but starting in September Nintendo will begin to charge for online multiplayer.

Regardless, Fortnite's battle royale is a great addition to the Nintendo Switch catalog as it brings some intense competitive play to the system.

According to this leak, it will be available on June 12, 2018, the same day as the E3 2018 Nintendo Direct. Specifically, it includes 600 V-Bucks (in-game currency used to purchase cosmetics and emotes in battle royale), the fighter pilot-looking Wingman Outfit and the Bogey Bag Back Bling. Aside from multiple leaks thanks to news outlets and ratings boards, now another leak has revealed the Fortnite Nintendo Switch release date and download size. Free-to-play games have already existed on the Switch, but Fortnite is especially interesting given its reliance on online play. But what happens when you get addicted?
