Watch the Square Enix E3 2018 Press Conference Live Right Here

It's a big day for E3 2018 press conferences, and Square Enix is the early bird that catches the Twitch eyeballs, starting off a day of hype.

Square Enix showed off a chunk of gameplay from the upcoming Tomb Raider game, showing Lara Croft pulling off a whole bunch of deadly and creative stealth assassinations. Now that relationship is resulting in Babylon's Fall.

A brand new game from Square Enix, Babylon's Fall takes place in the far future and perhaps mimics the fall of real-world Babylon in 500s BCE. Nobody was forcing them to host a press conference, but when you hold one, people naturally have expectations.

Square Enix also relied on some of the more tried and true series that the publisher boasts such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, though there wasn't much to be said about the latter. No Final Fantasy VII remake details and nothing on The Avengers or Guardians of the Galaxy. Additionally we saw the Kingdom Hearts III trailer we saw at the Microsoft event yesterday, along with a deeper look into Captain Spirit, which looks cute, but I find it hard to get super excited about.

Scheduled for a 2019 release, Platinum Games is developing this title.
