Halo Infinite Revealed With New Cinematic Trailer

Microsoft kicked off their annual E3 press conference with a bang by revealing a cinematic trailer for 343 Industries' Halo Infinite.

A roughly two-minute "game engine demonstration" featured scenes of exotic alien animals over lush rain-soaked caves, forests, and savannah. Titled Halo Infinite, the new game in the series is built on the Slipstream engine.

A new "Halo" game was announced on Sunday afternoon: "Halo Infinite" will be the next game in the smash-hit franchise, and it's coming to the Xbox One.

So far details are scarce on the new title.

The trailer description on Youtube confirms what we heard from Microsoft previous year: the next Halo is coming to Windows 10 as well as the Xbox. The E3 demo showcases some of the exciting potential of this technology - everything you see is running in-engine.

Forza Horizon developer Playground Games has also been bought up by Microsoft Studios, as has We Happy Few creator Compulsion Games.
