E3 2018: FromSoftware Unveils Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice at Xbox Briefing

From Software's previous games have been published by Atlus (Demon's Souls), Bandai Namco (Dark Souls), and Sony (Bloodborne).

At Microsoft's E3 2018 conference, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was premiered for the first time.

More information on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is expected in the days to come, as several press outlets have confirmed that they've been shown a demo but are under an embargo until Tuesday.

The game takes place in a Japanese setting, and will have players take control of a samurai.

Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, and published by Activision, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a third-person, action-adventure game with RPG elements. "We can't wait for everyone to discover what's in store for the game". "Kill Ingeniously", reads FromSoftware's description of the new title. The player character's apparent high agility thanks to his prosthetic arm attachments and ninja skills was a highlight as well. Other features for Sekiro include lovely vistas, enormous castles, weird weaponry, and some equally freaky and fearsome enemies.

Devil May Cry 5 is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in spring 2019. Pre-orders are available for the game now at select retailers for $59.99.
