E3 2018: Bethesda announces Prey DLC called Mooncrash

The official Prey social accounts have been making plenty of mentions of the moon, leading many to guess that Moon-themed DLC was inevitable. Peter is manning a spy satellite which is intercepting data from TranStar. Shortly after the events of Prey, TranStar's secret moon base stops transmitting - and now it's up to Peter to find out why.

New Prey content was teased several months ago and was on players' wish lists for E3 2018. This story differs from the original since your primary goal is loot. For players new to Prey, there's Prey: Digital Deluxe, which includes both Prey and Prey: Mooncrash. There appears to be elements of progression, though, as the description reads, "The further you go, the better the loot - and the better your chances for survival in your next spin through Mooncrash". You'll even get to unlock different characters with different abilities to play through the mode. And hey, it's available right now for $19.99 across all of Prey's supported platforms! Also out are free updates to Prey that add a story mode, new game plus and survival mode.

This is a competitive game mode which is basically a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, pitting Morgan Yu against mimics that will hide or try to disguise themselves as every day objects in order to hunt Yu down. Typhon Hunter doesn't yet have a release date, but it is expected to arrive later this year.
