Doom Eternal is promising more Doom, but bigger, better, and more hellish

Yeah, we knew this was coming. Doom Eternal is the sequel to the Doom reboot, and the one minute, 25 seconds clip trailer was revealed ahead of E3 2018. It captures the essence of what made the classic Doom games touchstones of their day, and translates it to suit modern palates with impressively rendered hellscapes and a steady influx of tantalizing upgrades.

Bethesda will host Quake Con in August, and there will be more on Doom Eternal at the event. This cinematic trailer didn't include any gameplay or release date details, but it should get fans of the reboot excited nevertheless.

The demonic destruction of Doom won't be limited to Mars (and Hell) any longer.

Following the trailer, id Software developers took the stage at E3 to share some more information about the game.

How do you make a sequel to the demon-destroying delirium that was Doom 2016? Many shooters chase the thrill Doom delivers, but few are as potent in their execution. There will be twice as many demons as in the last game, and Hell will come to Earth.
