Devil May Cry 5 debuts at Microsoft E3 press conference

Microsoft has had quite an eventful E3 this year, with strong showings from Halo: Infinite, Dying Light 2, Sea of Thieves, Cuphead, and Gears 5.

So without further delay, here's your first look at Devil May Cry 5. It's promised that Devil May Cry 5 will have incredible gameplay, which is good because nobody likes bad gameplay.

Longtime game director Hideaki Itsuno is making a return to the series, in what's part of a clear effort from Capcom to reinvigorate the franchise that has excited action fans since the Playstation 2. Expect tight controls married to lavish visuals. No doubt your moveset will get more complex as the game progresses, you skills increasing in harmony with Neros's smugness.

The next chapter in the Devil May Cry series has been teased for the past few weeks now, with hints that we would be getting it.

A battle of good and evil - A demonic invasion begins with the seeds of a "demon tree" taking root in Red Grave City. Well, it's returned in Devil May Cry 5, and ready to menace the world once again. Young demon hunter Nero has lost his Devil Bringer demon arm... but hey!

Devil May Cry 5 will offer players a choice of three characters to choose from, each offering a radically different combat play style.

"As Nero heads to Red Grave City in his motorhome named "Devil May Cry" with his partner Nico, he ruminates on how everything started".
