Cyberpunk 2077's neon-soaked trailer has us totally sold

Capping off their E3 2018 press conference, Microsoft showcased the first in-engine footage from Cyberpunk 2077 - the next game from The Witcher 3 developer CDProjektRed.

Opening up with a hacking interface, we're soon pulled back into a man riding a subway to a vast futuristic city - which looked like Blade Runner on a summer's day.

What is the Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date? He tells us that everybody still wants to live there, as that city is the city of dreams. Cyberpunk 2077's trailer was cinematic so we didn't get to see much in the way of gameplay but here's what we saw in the trailer anyway.

Unfortunately, we still don't have a release date for the game.

The trailer features a hidden message from CDPR, which confirms that the game will not feature any microtransaction and that players should expect the same free DLC and expansions just like The Witcher 3. That project is Cyberpunk 2077. It's not often a game five years in development lives up to the hype; Cyberpunk 2077 managed to do so. Normal procedure for these kinds of things - you announce a game and then shut up, roll up your sleeves, and go to work. Stay tuned for more as we get it.
