But now, "Stranger Things" will have it's own book series to go along with the show!

Netflix has teamed up with Penguin Random House to bring fans a series of books delving deeper into the Stranger Things universe.

The first two titles are scheduled to release this very year.

Season three of Stranger Things is set to premiere on Netflix in 2019.

Viewers will have to wait a bit longer for the prequel novel which focuses on Eleven's (Millie Bobby Brown) mother and the MKUltra program, penned by author Gwenda Bond, which is set for a spring 2019 release. Earlier releases this fall include a behind the scenes companion entitled Stranger Things: World Turned Upside Down and an as-yet untitled gift book which will offer, according to the publisher, "advice, wisdom, and warnings from the Stranger Things world". Project MKUltra, which was an actual Central Intelligence Agency program, is how Eleven got her mental powers while being experimented on under the watchful eye of the nefarious Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modine). They will reportedly target both younger and adult readers.

In April, Netflix announced the start of production for the third season of Stranger Things, though not much is known about the upcoming season except that it will feature a time hop from season two and pick up in 1985. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!

The Stranger Things books will initially be released under the US and British Commonwealth publishing teams of Del Rey Books, Random House Children's Books, Cornerstone Publishing, and Penguin Random House Children's UK.
