No Evidence Of Foul Play In Anthony Bourdain’s Death

His death - the second high profile suicide of a US celebrity this week - prompting an outpouring of support across social media, with people sharing their own stories of struggling with depression and anxiety.

Meanwhile, Mr Obama posted a picture of himself on Twitter eating noodles with Bourdain in Hanoi, Vietnam. The two are sitting on backless, blue plastic stools.

After quoting Bourdain, Obama told his followers what "Tony", as he affectionately called him, meant to him - and to the rest of the world. One of the most famous names in the world of food and travel, Anthony Bourdain was loved by people of all age groups. Despite our ridiculously hypocritical attitudes towards immigration, we demand that Mexicans cook a large percentage of the food we eat, grow the ingredients we need to make that food, clean our houses, mow our lawns, wash our dishes, look after our children.

Through the program Bourdain attempted to show what is so often hidden from American television screens, the plight of the Palestinian people.

In the UK, Jamie Oliver said that Bourdain "broke the mould".

"For whatever reason, [Obama] seemed willing to play, and my feeling was, if we're going to do this, we should do it right", revealed Bourdain. "We should do what we do, which was hang out in some working-class place".

Speaking of his last few days, Anthony's mother Gladys Bourdain told The New York Times that he was gloomy. Numerous fans flocked to both locations, attaching flowers, photos hand-written cards to the front in memory of the Parts Unknown host.

Bourdain's struggles with depression were previously brought to light in a 2016 episode of his show, where he visited Argentina - a country which fascinated him because it embraced mental health treatment. It will begin with a special introduction from Anderson Cooper.

Images of the casual dinner went viral after Bourdain, known for his love of adventurous street food, described the date in a series of tweets and an Instagram post.

"I think when you travel as much as I have, you, I don't want to say I'm more humble, but I think you become aware of how other people live, how hard their lives are, how big the world is and then of course fatherhood changes everything", Bourdain said.

A USA report released in June 2018 found an uptick in suicide rates in almost every state since 1999.
