Kingdom Hearts III Finally Gets a Release Date

"I'm sorry that we're asking for a little more time than initially planned", Kingdom Hearts III director Tetsuya Nomura said in a tweet regarding the delayed release date.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will hit the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Jan 29, 2019.

During the Kingdom Hearts concert, a release date was finally revealed.

Nomura also teases that further information and media (multiple trailers) will arrive further into E3, likely during Square Enix's press conference on Monday.

Square Enix first announced Kingdom Hearts III in 2013.

The release date puts Kingdom Hearts III nearly 2 years exactly after the previous installment in the series, the mini-episode Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage -.

The Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour kicked off in Los Angeles on Saturday night ahead of E3 Expo. The game hasn't been announced on PC but that might change in the future.We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more. The gap between Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts 2 will be just over 13 years.
