LeBron James to Los Angeles Lakers?

LeBron James has been playing with a serious bone contusion in his right hand since Game 2, I'm told.

Although the Lakers do not have much talent on the roster now, if James were to head to Los Angeles along with Paul George, as the report suggests, that would change quickly.

The Warriors franchise has been very successful recently as they have won two of their last three finals appearances. That includes the Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets.

It does make sense for James to sign with the Warriors from the standpoint that he wants to win more rings.

As for his triple-double count, Wednesday's trip-dub by James was his fourth in these playoffs and 10th in an NBA Finals contest. We can only imagine how the world would react to James signing with the Warriors as we saw recently what type of reaction Kevin Durant got by signing with the Warriors. In the past months, the names of LeBron James and Paul George are topping the list of the Lakers' free agent targets in the summer of 2018, and as of now, they are currently in a strong position to give both superstars a maximum contract. It was their most wins since the 2012-13 campaign, and rookies Kyle Kuzma (16.1 points per game) and Lonzo Ball (7.2 assists, 6.9 rebounds) showed great promise in their professional debuts. Even if the Lakers sign Paul George and/or draft a shooting guard in the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft, the front office should be exploring all possibilities. Beating the Warriors - essentially by himself - was (and is) an impossible task.
