Crackdown 3 Delayed to February 2019

Microsoft has officially confirmed that Crackdown 3 has been delayed until February 2019 after rumours were circulating the gamer web about it yesterday.

A Microsoft representative responded to the site's inquiry about the delay, confirming that it would come out next year instead.

"Our fans" response to the signature antics and explosive gameplay of Crackdown 3 has been incredible. The problem is the game was announced four years ago at E3 2014 - back then it was simply known as Crackdown.

Microsoft has remained fairly hush about the state of Crackdown 3, the highly-anticipated third installment of its building-toppling, car-flipping franchise that first launched back in 2007, and fans have been getting a little restless wondering when exactly they'll get a chance to play it. Our guess is that the big publisher will reveal more about Crackdown 3 during its E3 2018 conference this Sunday. Terry Crews, who has a role in the game, said on Twitter today, "Trust me, it'll be worth the wait". Obviously, spring has been and gone - we're now in early summer, and we're heading to Winter 2019 before we finally get the game. We'll find out in just a few days and get an idea of what's in store for Xbox One gaming over the next few months. "We look forward to sharing more on Crackdown 3 this Sunday during the Xbox E3 2018 briefing".
