Battlefield 5 leak Confirms World War 2 Setting and Details

If this is the case this time around, Xbox One owners could see themselves receiving Battlefield V DLC before PS4 and PC gamers.

It's only mere days before the reveal event for Battlefield V and DICE has chose to tease us yet again with a very brief clip posted on the official Battlefield Twitter account.

Speculation was rife that Battlefield V was being developed and now publisher EA has confirmed this with a new teaser trailer. WW2 isn't a new setting for the Battlefield series, but this 20-second teaser clip posted on May 21 is all fans have to go off for now.

Battlefield V is being developed by EA DICE using their flagship Frostbite Engine.

But then again, if you truly are a serious gamer, you should not miss the unveiling because there has yet to be a Battlefield event that doesn't offer juicy reveals. Some have claimed that the game is called Battlefield V and that it'll be set in World War II, while others have claimed that we're finally getting Battlefield: Bad Company 3. At that point, we'd expect to know a definitive answer. Hopefully we'll find out more soon.

A full reveal stream is planned for Battlefield V on Wednesday, May 23 at 1:00 pm PDT and will be available on Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, and the official website. There isn't much here yet, but we'll add more after Battlefield 5's big reveal event later this week.
