OnePlus 6 Durability Test Will Leave Fans Pleased

OnePlus has finally launched the OnePlus 6, the successor to the OnePlus 5T. Many would be wondering what the OnePlus 6 durability test results would reveal after this major change and they will be pleased to know that the handset has performed well in its durability test. This is unlike the last year's OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T that both had a glass covering only at the front.

OnePlus who also threw in splash resistance this time around, did not have an IP rating to show for it, but the company claims that the phone can withstand splashes and the accidental fall into the sink easily, but cannot withstand a dip into the pool. The narrator begins his video with a scratch test that uses the Mohs scale to examine the hardness of the front glass panel of the OnePlus 6 that comes with Corning's Gorilla Glass 5 branding. The frame of the phone along with the buttons are made out of metal. OnePlus has also bundled a protective case and a screen protector has been installed out of the box to make the smartphone look fresh for a longer time.

The product also has a vertical double chamber, which is placed in the center of the rear panel.

The camera glass can't be scratched with a razor blade, and neither can the fingerprint sensor underneath it. Similar is the case of the glass protection available on top of the dual rear camera setup.

The OnePlus 6 also stood up well to the burn test, lasting around 20 seconds at the mercy of a lighter's flame before the pixels permanently died.

The wallpaper creator shares on his blog that OnePlus asked him to come up with clean yet artistic wallpapers that don't skimp it in the vibrancy department. The frame remains intact and the glass is unshattered.

Will it survive the now-standard durability testing put forth by Zack from YouTube channel JerryRigEverything?
