How To Play Super Smash Bros. Switch At E3 2018

It's only showing games coming out this year; titles coming out after 2018 will be revealed at a later date. Nintendo announced on Wednesday fans will need to reserve play slots to play Super Smash Bros. for Switch before June's show.

Anyone who registers for E3 2018 before May 31 will receive an email from the event's organizers to register to play the game.

According to Nintendo, Super Smash Bros for Nintendo Switch will be playable at various events in Japan starting from June 17. But if you're hoping to just walk up and play it at the show, we've got some bad news. Nintendo said you'll want to be sure to add e3expo@e3expo.com to your email so it doesn't get associated as junk. Which isn't too long of a wait, especially since you can now get the ball rolling and pre-order the game for yourself right now. No on-site registration will be available.

Capcom has just announced a Nintendo Switch worldwide release for their game Okami HD, a game where the player controls protagonist Ōkami Amaterasu, a sun goddess in the form of a white wolf who must save the land from a awful curse.

Reservations will not be taken for any other games at Nintendo's booth, which will be available to play on a first-come, first-served basis. "This year our focus is on the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game, and we want as many people as possible to give it a try".

You can work out the ticketing details from there once you're signed up, but it's imperative to do so if you want a look at the new Smash for Nintendo Switch at all. Let us know in the comments section below. This should provide fans with a faster, smoother experience so they can play the Super Smash Bros. game and spend more time enjoying the rest of the June 12-14 show.

Nintendo is also inviting players to bring their Switch consoles to the show, as if you're spotted with your Switch at the Nintendo booth or around E3, you could win an exclusive Nintendo Switch pin, while supplies last.
