BSNL Offers New Prepaid Recharge For Rs 118. Details Here

The state-run telecom operator, BSNL, recently launched Rs 39 prepaid plan that offers unlimited voice calls to the subscribers.

And now to keep in the running with Reliance Jio telecom offerings, it has launched a new Rs. 118 recharge plan that offers unlimited voice calls jammed with data incentives. The Jio pack offers additional benefits of a free subscription to Jio apps.

RJio's Rs 448 pack gives similar unlimited calls and SMS offer like BSNL. After recharging with Rs 118 plan, the BSNL signature caller tune will automatically get activated for free. On the lucrative front, BSNL is providing users access to a free PRBT tune. The validity is same for all the effective circles. Many other telcos like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular have learned the ways of RJio offers, but to a government-owned company like BSNL, it had to think big something out of the box.

With the above offer, BSNL is giving a whopping 180GB data.

Along with the data benefit, BSNL is also offering 1GB data for the validity period, after the given benefit is exhausted the users will be charged at standard rates. BSNL is offering 1GB of data and unlimited voice calls with its new Rs 118 plan. The "unlimited" calls are, however, limited to 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week. Moreover, BSNL did not mention any FUP limit per day, so we can say that the voice calling is unlimited like the other BSNL prepaid plans. On the other hand, Reliance Jio's Rs 98-plan offers 2GB of 4G VoLTE data with unlimited calls-local, STD and national roaming- across India along with 300 free SMS for a period of 28 days. For someone wanting both voice and data benefits, BSNL has a plan worth Rs 187 that is meant for subscribers looking for an economical monthly mobile plan. Airtel's free unlimited plan with 128 kbps starts at Rs. 199.
