Samsung releases red, gold Galaxy S9s in Korea

Well, that wasn't the case from the get-go, and now, the handsets finally support the augmented reality platform.

Samsung has now also announced the introduction of two new color variants of the Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ smartphones in Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red. Meanwhile, the Burgundy Red edition comes with a deep red paint job that comes with a restrained gloss for added density. Some pictures of the flagship in jaw-dropping Burgundy Red were leaked online last week making us all very excited about picking one up in this incredible hue. Should the new editions come to Malaysia, the price tag will most likely cost the same from RM3299 to RM4399 depending on which model variant you're getting. While the Burgundy Red variant will be available in South Korea and China later this month, the Sunrise Gold edition will be made available from June in select countries like Australia, Chile, Germany, Spain, Russia, Taiwan, South Korea, UAE, Vietnam, and Mexico. This expands the current roster of Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple. No words on U.S. availability, alas, although the "satin gloss finish" is supposed to be "coming soon" to unnamed "additional markets". It was later rolled out to smartphones manufactured by Asus, LG, Huawei, Motorola, and Sony.
