Pokemon Switch Leaks Suggest Game Will Be a Remake of Pokemon Yellow

Domain registrar CSC Corporate Domains, Inc. has registered both http://pokemonletsgopikachu.com/ and http://pokemonletsgoeevee.com, which now direct to blank pages. According to a report from Nintendo-focussed gaming site, Nintendo Everything (via ResetEera) it's been discovered that domains for these two possible titles - PokemonLetsGoPikachu.com and PokemonLetsGoEevee.com were registered by CSC Corporate Domains. Pikachu Edition and Pokémon Let's GO!

Rogers followed up on this claim with a longer blog post, where she stated that the Pokemon game (s) for Switch will be announced before the end of May, and that the branding of the titles "might raise a few eyebrows". The biggest known differences between the two is that the Switch versions would feature generally improved graphics and the possibility that Pokemon in the Switch version of the game will actually appear on the map as roaming creatures. That lends a lot of confidence to the notion that these domains were registered on behalf of Nintendo, so Pokemon Let's Go! could very well be the title of the next mainline Pokemon games.

To add more fuel to the fire, Nintendo and Game Freak have also been dropping some subtle clues that may point towards this leak being legitimate.

Pokemon on Switch has yet to attract a release date. It seems that the plan is for the Switch versions of Pokemon to allow users to catch Pokemon in a manner similar to the one seen in the popular mobile game.

Imagine being able to square off with other players' teams of Pokemon after you've caught them in the wild in Pokemon GO. Until then we can only wait and see what Nintendo has in the works for us.

The only thing we know for sure is that Game Freak is indeed working on a more traditional Pokemon game for the Switch.
