ICSE Class 10, ISC Class 12 Board results to be announced today

Over 16 lakh student appeared for the class 10 examination while more than 10 lakh student appeared for the class 12 examination. Mumbai's Swayam Das tops Class 10 ICSE exam with 99.4 per cent. This is more than the all India average of 98.51 per cent passes in the ICSE class 10 exam and 96.21 per cent passes in the ISC class 12 exams. In the Class 12 exams too, the southern region did better with a pass percentage of 98.38%, and the western region followed with a pass percentage of 97.22%. Therefore, all the interested candidates can check their results on the CISCE official website.

The ICSE exams for Class 10 began on February 26 and ended on March 28 whereas the ISC exams for Class 12 were slated between February 7 and April 2 this year.

ICSE 10th results have been announced. Similarly, in the Class 10 examination, the pass percentage of girls is 98.95 per cent while that of boys is 98.15 per cent.

To get result via SMS, send SMS ICSE to 09248082883 for class 10 result and SMS ISC to 09248082883 for class 12 result.

Students can long on to www.cisce.org. or www.results.nic.in.to check their results whereas they could get their marks through SMSes. This year, the results are being declared earlier as compared to 2017, when the results were declared on May 29. A student will now need 33 instead of 35 per cent for passing ICSE exams and 35 instead of 40 per cent for ISC exams. Save the copy of the scorecard for future use reference.

"In both Class 12 and Class 10 exams, girls have outperformed boys", Arathoon told reporters.

This year, the top score of 99.5 percent in class 12 was bagged by seven students from across the country.
