Hero dog rescues his pal from drowning in pool in viral video

Smokey and Remus, the canine buddies, have been reportedly getting "rambunctious" earlier this month at their residence in Mesa, Ariz.

Owners Laurie and Jay Becerra captured the heroic event on their security camera and posted it to their Facebook page where it's going viral.

The pup's owner, Laurie Becerra, said her husband, Jay, was in the house for a few minutes and the pups must have come through the fence.

ACS-low, Arizona, told the media that her husband Jay found his wet dog named Smokey and I made a decision to check what happened. They play around pool all the time with no incidence.

An Arizona family filmed a remarkable video that showed a dog save his buddy who fell into a pool and struggled to get out. But their other dog, named Remus, quickly went to work. At some point, Remus moves slightly to the left, and fighting Smokey is slowly coming to him.

"When we saw the footage we were amazed and our hearts filled with joy", a friend of Becerra told The Dodo.

The video shows Smokey in the water paddling to the edge of the pool. My best friend cried when we sent him the video.

After a few unsuccessful attempts to get the dog out of the water, Remus can be seen jumps into the pool to give his buddy a nudge. "She says he's a certified lifeguard now".
