Donovan Mitchell To Play in Game 2 After Toe Injury

Mitchell underwent an MRI on his left foot, which came back negative according to ESPN's Chris Haynes, meaning he will be available for Game 2.

"His status for Wednesday's game will be determined tomorrow", a tweet from Utah Jazz said.

Utah Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell has been given the all clear after suffering a minor foot injury in his team's 116-108 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

As soon as it became official that the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder would be battling one another in the first round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs, Jazz fans knew their team was in for a tough series.

He played 38 minutes putting up 36 points and seven rebounds. That's okay company, right?

"I feel fine. I just stubbed my toe, nothing major", he told reporters postgame. But even after the game, Mitchell would downplay his foot injury.

Needless to say, he just really wants to play. We'll get to see him in the NBA Playoffs beginning this weekend. These are the National Basketball Association playoffs, after all.
