Heavy rain brings threat of flood

Heavy rain, high winds and severe thunderstorms are expected for Arkansas this week, according to the National Weather Service. Some areas could see as much as four inches of rainfall, with a minimum rainfall potential of two inches.

On Wednesday, that rain will continue. Today's forecast calls for an 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms.

TUESDAY: Rain will continue through the day, tapering off by late afternoon and evening as temperatures fall.

It's going to be a wet Wednesday in North Texas.

Tulsa, along with most of northeast Oklahoma, remains under a flood watch that is set to expire at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Employees are asked to report at the usual time or as soon as they can safely get to work. Thursday brings more rain back into the forecast, with fairly active weather pattern carrying us through the weekend with on and off rain chances into early April. Come Friday, that won't change, as a high of 72, low of 50 and north winds from 5 to 10 miles per hour are expected. Easter Sunday will be partly sunny with a high approaching 80 degrees and a low around 59.
