Rumor: Assassin's Creed Going to Greece

ComicBook states that their information comes from credible insider sources at Ubisoft who previously provided accurate information on Assassin's Creed Origins including its setting, final name, artwork, and many other things. Development for the new game coming out after Origins actually began back in early 2017 meaning development should last close to three years. Looks like we will have a new Assassin's Creed game in 2019.

As with any rumor, I would advise readers taking it with a pinch of salt; even one as well corroborated as this one. But for now, Ubisoft has plans for Assassin's Creed Origins throughout 2018. "According to these rumors, the next game in the series is heading to ancient Greece".

He also mentioned that the development began shortly after Assassin's Creed Origins gone gold past year. Ubisoft's Raphael Lacoste (Assassin's Creed series Art Director who worked on AC: Origins) recently visited Greece (but he says it was a Holiday Trip).

Are you ready for another Assassin's Creed game? The next game entered production previous year, but it is planned to launch in the fall of 2019. Greece could have been the setting for Origins, but Ubisoft opted for Egypt instead which paid off since the latest game was well received by fans and critics alike.

So what exactly these sources say about the next Assassin's Creed game? Like most Assassin's Creed games, the development duration is usually two years which is on point.
