Sealing: BJP-AAP colluding with each other, alleges Rahul Gandhi

Replying to the tweet, Kejriwal wrote, "I urge u to kindly raise sealing issue strongly in current session of Parliament and force BJP to take all steps necessary to stop sealing n open sealed shops".

Later in the day, Congress President Rahul Gandhi attacked both AAP and BJP over the sealing drive.

On the issue of 351 roads, which have been pending notification as commercial or mixed-land use for over 10 years, Mr. Sisodia said the government would go to the Supreme Court next week to seek permission for the notification.

Sisodia said the government would create opportunities for both parties to apprise the monitoring committee about their views on the sealing. "We should present our points in favour of traders before the committee", Sisodia said. More than half a dozen policemen were deployed additionally apart from the regular security deployment outside the CM's residence for the meeting.

Ashutosh had also targeted Lt Governor Anil Baijal, calling him an "agent of the BJP" for not acting on a complaint about attack on Delhi minister Imran Hussain and Delhi Dialogue Commission vice-chairman Ashish Khetan, despite being provided evidence.

Advisor to Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, VK Jain has resigned from his post citing personal reasons.

Notably, a "bandh" is being observed on Tuesday by the traders in the national capital in protest against the sealing drive. "The discussion for traders was necessary and if needed, we will again call a meeting and appeal to the BJP to attend it", Sisodia said.

Health minister Satyendar Jain, development minister Gopal Rai, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and MLA Somnath Bharti were among the others who took part in the talks.

"We have given a representation to the CM, and will send this to the BJP also, in which we have divided the city into six parts. Because it is not being done now, there is chaos", Maken said.

"The then Centre and state government under the Congress working on its past strategy to suppress the issue, brought out an under developed Master Plan-2021 which though stopped the sealing at that time but soon complicated the situation to the extent that in 2017 Supreme Court actively re-intervened", he said in the statement. The protest is being organised to oppose the sealing drive unleashed by the municipal corporations on direction of the Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee.
