Brandon Jennings Shines in Return to Bucks

Sitting on a 10-day contract, Brandon Jennings nearly notched a triple-double in his first game back with the Milwaukee Bucks. House of Highlights posted a video of Jennings' performance, which fell short of a triple-double, but was enough to contribute to a Bucks win. The 28-year-old is an eight-year National Basketball Association veteran, playing for Milwaukee, Detroit, Orlando, New York and Washington.

The Bucks signed Jennings to a 10-day contract on Sunday. The 28-year-old was drafted 10th overall by the Bucks in 2009. He started the season playing in China before joining the Bucks' G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, in February.

Milwaukee is in Memphis to take on the Grizzlies tonight. He should be used as point guard depth behind Eric Bledsoe until Matthew Dellavedova is back.

However, Brandon Jennings failed to play at a high-level on a consistent basis. In four seasons with the team, he averaged 17.0 points and 5.7 assists while shooting at a 35 percent mark from distance.

The eight-year National Basketball Association veteran has had plenty of stops in a well-traveled career since being traded to the Detroit Pistons in 2013 in a deal that brought second-leading scorer Khris Middleton to Milwaukee. Throughout his eight-year career, Jennings jumped from team-to-team (Milwaukee, Detroit, Orlando, New York and Washington) and also played for Shanxi Zhongyu in the Chinese CBA.

"I was nervous", Jennings said. "A lot of people don't get second chances, but I'm grateful, I'm blessed for this opportunity". Just always wanted to bounce back from that.
