Leicester piles misery on Pardew

Kelechi Iheanacho scored his first English Premier League for Leicester City as the Foxes defeated West Brom 4-1 at the Hawthorns.

Leicester goals from Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez helped them come from behind after Solomon Rondon's eighth-minute opener for the Baggies.

A run of 33 league games had passed, with Iheanacho making a stop at King Power Stadium along the way.

One Opta stat offers encouragement for anyone thinking about taking the plunge on Leicester - the home side has never won this fixture in Premier League history, with five away wins and two draws. Or will Leicester get their first win in four matches?

The lead was short lived as midway through the first half West Brom were caught out by a perfectly weighted long pass by Mahrez over the top of the defence which found Vardy's run in behind, before the England worldwide provided an exceptional finish into the bottom corner on the volley with his left foot.

Vardy thought that he put his side in front eight minutes before the break after Chilwell fizzed in the ball through for the England striker, who broke into the box and smartly finished, beating Foster at the near post, but the flag was raised for offside.

West Brom have dropped a league-high 21 points from winning positions in the Premier League this season, while gaining just one point from behind in return.

But Foster could do little when visiting substitute Iheanacho made an immediate impact, clipping a little pass over the top for Mahrez to finish neatly.

Leicester made it 4-1 in injury time when Vicente Iborra headed home from a corner.

Iborra then chose to give the home side a day they'll want to forget after adding a fourth from a corner late on. "West Brom could sack Pardew but they will find it hard to get a better manager in the Championship".
