'Wonder Woman' Director Confirms Kristen Wiig Will Play Cheetah in Sequel!

Indeed, according to Omega Underground's findings, the as-yet-untitled Wonder Woman sequel will set up shop in the United Kingdom - Warner's home base of Leavesden, to be specific - for a period of three-to-four months.

Bridesmaids star Kristen Wiig has joined the cast of the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel. Wonder Woman costars Chris Pine, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Ewen Bremner are reportedly lining up to return for the sequel too, though that has yet to be officially announced. The film was produced by Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder and Richard Suckle, with Stephen Jones, Geoff Johns, Jon Berg, Wesley Coller and Rebecca Steel Roven serving as executive producers.

The first Wonder Woman movie was a massive success, generating more than $821 million at the global box office.

In DC Comics, Cheetah has feline strength and speed, which make her a worthy foe to Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). Cheetah has the abilities of the animal she was named after, given to her by the plant-god Urzkartaga.
