Google Dwelling unable to say who's Jesus

The "issue" caught public attention via a Facebook Live video in which user David Sams accuses Google Home of "refusing to acknowledge Jesus, Jesus Christ, or God". He showcased that the Amazon device pulled up the online information on Jesus while Google Home still claimed it did not have anything to say about Jesus.

And some people are sounding the alarm about what the technology tells you when you ask about Jesus.

Some folks across the fruited plain are wondering if their Google Home smart speakers have an aversion to Christianity.

Sams reported that when he asked Google who Jesus Christ is, it responds, "Sorry, I'm not sure how to help" or "My apologies I don't understand". "It's kinda scary, it's nearly like Google has taken Jesus and God out of smart audio". I even tried asking a couple different ways.

Google is facing a minor controversy over Google Assistant and its inability to tell users who the religious figure Jesus is. However, it was able to identify other religious figures such as Muhammad, Buddha, and Satan. "First it started with schools". "It's better to be on par, than you don't know who Jesus is", he said. He added, "That seems to be more important these days than what's right and what's wrong". Google Assistant provides the same response when asked the more generic question, "Who is God?" "I don't know if there's some kind of wizard making these decisions or if it's some kind of oversight".

Sams went on to challenge Google in his Facebook Live video, asking that Google Home give an answer similar to Amazon's Echo assistant named Alexa. "But whatever it is, they need to address it immediately". He said that Alexa - which was criticized previous year for saying "Jesus Christ is a fictional character" while giving answers to questions about Muhammad - now cites information on Jesus in a respectful manner.

In November, conservative pundit Steven Crowder released a video in which Alexa described Jesus as "a fictional character", while calling Muhammad "a very wise prophet".
