Chelsea fans destroy Antonio Conte for ridiculous decision during Leicester City draw

Antonio Conte and Chelsea made unwanted history following Saturday's stalemate against Leicester City.

The draw has now put Conte's men level with Mourinho's side, who have have a game in hand, which is very bad considering that there was a point in late December when they were favorites for the second spot after dismal showings by the Red Devils.

Despite going down to 10 men with over 20 minutes to play Leicester weren't put under any significant pressure, as Conte somewhat surprisingly withdrew both Hazard and Fabregas for Pedro and Willian.

But Leicester held on for the draw which leaves Chelsea on 47 points, the same as Manchester United who play on Monday at home to struggling Stoke City.

The visitors enjoyed the best chances in the first half, with Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez being too much for the Blues' defence for most of the opening 45 minutes, but the Foxes were unable to find a way through.

"We tried to create chances to score without suffering defensively and win the game, but in the end I think the result was fair".

Conte says we suffered for playing so soon after the tough midweek game against Arsenal, and with numerous same players.

Leicester continued to put pressure on a sleeping Chelsea defence as the first half progressed, with Vardy finding it easy to burst through the Blues backline and into a risky area.

"I don't think they will get in the Champions League".

Silva said: "This season we've had decisions go against us".

Premier League predictions: Can Liverpool halt the Man City juggernaut?

Conte had earlier spoken of his "great admiration" for Sanchez, who has only six months remaining on his Arsenal contract and has been strongly linked with a move to one of the two Manchester clubs. "To live this injustice is really hard".

Dennis Wise is tipping Arsenal to finish outside the top four places in the Premier League once again this season.
