Jennifer Lopez to Return to 'Will & Grace' in Two Different Roles

NBC has yet to reveal how her story will unfold and how her dual character would play out.

TVLine reports that Jennifer Lopez is set to return to Will & Grace playing both herself and her character from Shades of Blue, NYPD detective Harlee Santos.

Pop star and actress Jennifer Lopez is to appear in a forthcoming episode of revived United States sitcom Will & Grace.

When "Will & Grace" fans last saw Lopez on the show, she stuck around for three episodes and played the part of herself, even grabbing the mic to sing at Karen's wedding. The "Amor, Amor, Amor" singer guest-starred in two episodes of the newly-revived show's sixth season, during which Karen (Mullally) got married to Lyle Finster (John Cleese). When one of her backup dancers was injured after slipping on a cocktail shrimp, she invited Jack (Sean Hayes) to go on tour with her.

The Bronx-born actress will appear in an upcoming episode of "Will & Grace", but it won't be the first time she's teamed up with Eric McCormack (Will), Debra Messing (Grace), Sean Hayes (Jack) and Megan Mullally (Karen). It would be interesting to see Her reaction on hearing about Rosario's demise.

An air date for J.Lo's episode hasn't yet been revealed.
