Jazz's Rodney Hood gets ejected, slaps phone out of a fan's hand

It was definitely a subpar performance from Hood, who is averaging 16.98 points per game so far this season.

The Jazz routed the Wizards 116-69 on December 4.

The Jazz went on to beat the Wizards 107-104. John Wall led the team with 35 points and 11 assists, Bradley Beal had 23 points with seven assists while Otto Porter Jr chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Magic shot 43 percent from the field and eight of 29 from the three-point line but they really couldn't keep up with the Bucks who led by as many as 20 points before resting their starters in the fourth quarter. However, Washington has certainly had its inconsistencies this year, as they displayed in Utah about a month ago, so the Jazz definitely shouldn't be counted out.

That proved to be a huge shot because Washington turned the ball over on the next possession.

Washington trailed by 10 early in the fourth quarter before Wall hit a pair of 3-pointers during an 11-3 surge that gave the Wizards a one-point lead. He also went 1-for-5 from the three-point range.

Utah outscored Washington 37-27 in the third, and Udoh scored 10 points in the period. Already without C Rudy Gobert, Utah played without F/C Derrick Favors (right ankle sprain). This time, Utah proved to be another tough matchup and swept the season series with Washington, which fell to 0-2 at the start of a five-game homestand.

When Jazz guard Rodney Hood was ejected from Wednesdays game, he put a stop to a fan trying to record the moment when he smacked a cell phone out of the fan's hand on his walk back to the locker room.

HollywoodLifers, do you think Rodney's phone slap will earn him at least a one game suspension?

Beal's run of poor shooting late in games continued.
