Anthony Joshua reveals who and where he'll fight after Joseph Parker

Parker (24-0, 18 KOs), who hasn't fought since his majority decision win over Hughie Fury in September 2017, will be defending his WBO strap while also bidding to claim Joshua's IBF and WBA belts.

Cardiff is the current frontrunner to stage the battle on March 31 at the Principality Stadium.

The contract is expected to be signed and a statement will then be released by the fighters' respective promoters, Matchroom Boxing and Duco Events.

Parker's representative, David Higgins, has been in the United Kingdom since Monday to conclude negotiations, and a news conference is expected next week.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has warned Tyson Fury that Anthony Joshua would "fight him in a heartbeat" and that he is ready to start negotiating a fight between the two of them.

"I was bantering with David Higgins yesterday".

"Tyson Fury has too much skill and too much altogether for Anthony Joshua. It's not even in question for them", he told Sky Sports.

"Let's see if you're real".

Higgins also revealed that Parker remains in New Zealand while he tries to finalise a deal for the two to meet in the ring.

"Deontay Wilder, he's got a big mouth", Joshua replied when asked who he'd face after Parker.

"This could be the first time we've seen the switch of Anthony Joshua, and I'm excited to see it".

And Hearn recently outlined Joshua's plan for the year, which involved beating Parker before taking on Wilder in an attempt to hold all four heavyweight belts. "We are very close".

"We might get Parker on a plane this weekend and all being well, hopefully we can announce the fight next week".
