New Details About Princess Charlotte's Education Show How Smart She Is

After Prince George attended his first day of school in September, his little sister Princess Charlotte followed suit on January 8 by attending her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School.

A source is reported to have told People magazine the young Princess has learned several Spanish phrases and is "very sweet and very confident - she's always chatting away".

But it seems the Princess is already ahead of the curve, with reports today suggesting she is already able to speak two languages, after learning Spanish phrases from her nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.

Kensington Palace has released two images of Princess Charlotte as she begins her first day at nursery school.

"She is so polite, but also fun and energetic", the source adds. Her older brother, Prince George, attended preschool at Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk.

While royal fans have previously noticed that Princess Charlotte looks strikingly similar to her great-grandma, Queen Elizabeth, at the same age, many are taking note of another family resemblance - to Princess Diana!

Princess Charlotte joins her big brother Prince George in mastering some of the basics of the Spanish language, as Kate revealed on a visit to Wick Court farm in Gloucestershire previous year that Prince George could already count to ten in the language.

Charlotte's confidence was easy to see this week when she started nursery school.
