Sennheiser HD 820 Closed Dynamic Headphones Unveiled For $2400

The company has also announced the CX 6.00BT, which are a pair of Bluetooth in-ear headphones that will cost $100. The closed-back dynamic stereo headphones deliver astonishingly transparent sound, thanks to a unique glass transducer cover that minimizes resonances. "Sennheiser says it designed the earbuds to be lightweight and compact, yet robust". The Sennheiser HD 820 headphones are now available to preorder priced at $2,400 and are expected to start shipping out to customers in the next couple of months.

There are four different tip sizes to ensure proper fit for different ears. Alongside a three-button remote for controlling music and calls, the headphones provide convenient voice prompts notifying the user of battery status.

To that end, Sennheiser promises that the CX 6.00BT will provide clear, detailed audio with solid oomph in the bass department.

According to Gadget 360, "Sennheiser has provided Qualcomm apt-X low latency compatibility with the CX 6.00BT that enhance gaming and video watching experience by keeping the audio transmission in sync with the visuals". The CX 6.00BT in-ears allow pairing with two devices at the same time, letting you easily swap between your phone and computer, for example.

As for battery life, the CX 6.00BT is said to last up to six hours on a single charge, and also supports fast charging where 10 minutes of charging will net users two hours of battery life, with the headphones taking 1.5 hours to fully recharge.

At last year's CES, Sennheiser wowed audiences with its Ambeo Smart Headset, which used binaural microphones to let the wearer easily record the sounds around them in realistic 3D.

The Sennheiser CX 6.0BT are now officially shown at CES 2018 and they will go on sale later on in January. The company is continuing its progress in the Ambeo line, but this year, it's with an Ambeo-branded soundbar.

At CES 2018, Sennheiser will offer a first look at a prototype of a 3D Soundbar, the latest development in the audio specialists AMBEO 3D audio program. The model Sennheiser is showing at CES is just a prototype, but hopefully we'll see one you can actually purchase sooner rather than later.
