Ubisoft Reflections reveals 'musical experience' Ode

The player's only goal is to spread joy!

Ode is described as "an enchanting visual and musical journey through handsome landscapes", by Ubisoft Reflections, who has previously released Grow Home and the recent Atomega. And Ubisoft has surprised us by releasing an entirely new game out of the blue from their Reflections studio. Seems simple enough and that is exactly what the developers wanted, Ode is a exprience more than it is a game somewhere in the likes of Journey and Abzu.

"Ode lets you experiment in open environments where everything reacts to you". As you collect the orb-like fallen stars scattered throughout each level, you'll be able to throw them, attract them, and even use them to alter Joy's form, assuming different shapes to reach new areas.

You will explore the game's four garden enviroments collectiong starts which will cahnge the sound and visuals that you see in the game. The gardens are filled with plants that create the game's music.

Ode is available on Uplay today for just $4.99.
