Amazon India is giving an array of discount and data benefits as a part of the introductory sale of OnePlus 5T.

The OnePlus 5T (first impressions) originally debuted on November 16 and is a successor to the last flagship OnePlus 5.

The device was unveiled simultaneously in India along with the rest of the world on November 16 and in a short period, it has already received overwhelming response from tech experts and consumers across the globe, he said.

The smartphone will be available in two storage variants.

Customers can get up to Rs 1500 "Instant Discount" if they purchase the smartphone using HDFC Bank debit and credit cards. OnePlus is also offering a free 12 month accidental damage insurance to protect your phone from any accidental damages or liquid spills. It's also worth noting that only the Midnight Black variant of the phone is available for purchase. With this new version, OnePlus 5 becomes obsolete too as no more OnePlus 5 will be going into production and the company is fully focussed on 5T. The internals of the OnePlus 5T is exactly the same as the 5 and powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 2.45GHz and Adreno 540 GPU, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Android 7.1.2 Nougat comes pre-installed on the OnePlus 5T, along with the company's OxygenOS, though Android Oreo is on its way, it's expected to arrive in early 2018. There's a fingerprint scanner at the back panel as well. OnePlus 5T also features facial recognition which the company claims is very reliable and unlocks the phone in 0.4 seconds though it can't be used for transactions.
